My Role: Graphic Designer
Context: Freelance project

A Salvadoran bakery and restaurant in Seattle seeking a fresh visual identity that honored their cultural heritage while feeling modern and inviting. I developed the full brand identity and social media visual assets — creating a cohesive look that connected authentically with their community.

The Logo Concept

This rebranding project blends modern minimalism with deep cultural symbolism.

The centerpiece of the identity is a reimagined logo — the letter "E" in "Salvadorean" is constructed from three rounded rectangles, simultaneously referencing the Salvadoran flag's horizontal stripes, a three-tier cake representing the bakery, and the letterform itself. Three symbols in one mark.

This layered concept reflects the owners' pride in their Salvadoran heritage while giving the brand a contemporary, inviting identity. The result communicates what the business is about immediately — tradition, warmth, and authenticity — with a fresh, modern visual language.

Social Media Design

Beyond the logo, I developed a consistent visual system for the restaurant's social media presence — including color palette, typography treatment, and content templates — ensuring every post felt distinctly theirs while remaining appetizing and shareable.

Content was planned and executed end-to-end, adapting the brand identity across different post formats, promotional content, and occasions.
